Baltimore County Secures $3.5 Million for Road Safety Audits and Safer Roads

Baltimore, MD – Dec. 27, 2023 –  Baltimore County has received $3.5 million in federal funding from the Safe Streets for All program to conduct road safety audits for 17 corridors, according to WMAR2News. This initiative is a significant step toward improving road safety, reducing traffic-related fatalities, and addressing potential road hazards in the county, emphasizing the importance of investing in infrastructure and community well-being. County Executive Johnny Olszewski expressed gratitude to federal and state partners for their support in ensuring safer roads for Baltimore County residents.
