Baltimore, MD – Dec. 29, 2023: The following message was sent earler today by Rabbi Shmuel Silber and the Suburban Orthodox Board

_x000D_We are writing to let you know that sometime during the night of December 28, the large Israeli flag that is hanging at the construction site of the new building was slashed in several places. Additionally, the construction fence was cut to access the property. We have filed a police report, are reviewing camera footage, and have documented the incident with many photographs. It is both sad and infuriating to witness this pathetic act of cowardice. There are those who are naive enough to think that acts like this will break our spirit and weaken our resolve, but nothing can be further from the truth. It is acts like this that remind us, that Am Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel is fighting a battle against evil in all its forms and wherever it may be. As members of our holy nation, we too are part of that battle.
